Thanks Pitchfork...

for validating my love of the Beach Boys.

Pitchfork Media spent last week counting down the 200 greatest songs of the 1960s, and though I'm often weary of such defining lists, I always read them, and in this case I was quite impressed.

My favorites, Beach Boys, Ronnettes, Crystals and Zombies, all made great showings all over the list. I definately recommend looking over the list. Take it all with a grain of salt. You may not think that "God Only Knows" is the greatest song of the 10 year span, but you'll find some favorites there, and hopefully a few that you'll go look up on your iTunes account.

Peep it!

He is being terribly, terribly slow. C'mon, Aaron, that whole internship thing can't consume your whole life!

Yes... yes you do...

Alas the internship consumes only a portion of my life. The rest is spent travelling between Astoria and Seattle to see my sweety, mulling over bills and students loans and all the little insignificant stuff (sleeping, eating, etc).

But I'm ALMOST done, and I spent last night throwing together a mix to post... so I'm getting back on the ball... I'll post something tonight!
